goodbye HUNTЯ InterestedGoingInvite Public · Hosted by Adam Dreaddy and Hunter Knows ~ DJ Patrick Kelly JUST LIKE THAT - PATRICK KELLY (aka THAT) - BASSFEST 2015 SET

goodbye HUNTЯ

"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Winnie the Pooh

This night was inspired by House music, a night that was needed for the people that just wanted to be themselves, and dance like nobody was watching. That might sound cheesy, but its true. I love the energy of a room, when people are loving each other, giving each other life. Gay, straight, male, female, black, or asian... whomever you are, whatever you may want in life, we all come together with one thing in common; good music *

$10 tier 1 (first 50 tickets) SOLD OUT
$15 tier 2 (second 50 tickets)
$20 tier 3 (third 50 tickets, selling out XY)

Tickets selling at Stratosphere Hair Salon, plus door. Highly recommended you take up the pre-sale and earlier tier option, SAVE $$$ - This event sold out twice previously, secure your spot *

DJ/Producer: LANDO (Edmonton, AB)

LANDO is a veteran House DJ known for his super funky and upbeat sets. After making a name for himself in Vancouver in 2001, he began playing shows all over western Canada and held down residencies in Whistler, Vancouver and Victoria. Along the way he has shared the stage with local and international house music legends such as Sonny Fodera, Inland Knights, Olav Basowski, Antoine Clamaran and Christan Alvarez ... After his success in BC, Lando relocated to the Cayman Islands to take up club residencies at various night spots, and helped create the famous 7 Mile Beach Full Moon Parties. Since returning home, LANDO was fortunate enough to be booked as part of the Athletes Village entertainment roster at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and since then has been keeping Funky House alive.
HUNTЯ, welcomes LANDO to XY! He'll be rocking the decks and breathing some soul back into the electronic music scene.

DJ/Producer: PATRICK KELLY aka THAT (Vancouver, BC)

Patrick has been moving his way through Vancouvers electronic music scene since the mid 90's. Never one to be typecast to one particular genre, Patrick has performed everything from DnB and Jungle, Downtempo, Breaks, Tech and of course his soul mate, Deep House.
Patrick Kellys mixes are built around all things deep, with the bassline the catalyst to all of his sets. Patrick Kelly has had one of his mixes featured on Beatport after reaching #1 on the Beatport DJ charts. One of his more recent mixes for the Kinks & Kinks podcast has gained a lot acclaim for its programming and flow, and his 5 hour Sunday deep house set to close out the Festivus Summer Music Festival has become a thing of legend.
A regular in the Intimate Productions lineup, he has played along side the likes Booka Shade, DJ T, Alex E, and Pillow Talk, among others.
On top of being a long time player in Vancouver's underground club and party scene, Patrick is the Director and co-Founder of the Festivus Music Festival (FMF), an outdoor event in its 12th year, with its roots set deeply in promoting local producers and DJ's, and bringing a unique and exclusive feel to the festival circuit. Festivus has quickly gained notoriety as one of the best small festivals on the west coast.

Nathan has always had an extensive interest in music ranging from dark and tech to disco and funky but it was a spark in Turntablism that drove Nathan into learning more about the technical aspects of DJing in 2010. After spending a year under the tutoring of Red Bull Threestyle Champion, DJ Murge, Nathan made his first venture out playing in Victoria at the age of 19.
Since then Nathan has worked numerous residencies, including a three year long residency Saturday night at Sugar nightclub in Victoria. Nathan has also had the opportunity to work with a wide range of international talent, from opening Victoria Electronic Music Festival’s main stage before artists such as Jesse Roe to one off parties with artists such as Lazy Rich and JFB as well as other events like the White Boat party in Vancouver.
Fueled by a love of music and an eye for the technical, Nathan aims to grow and evolve, always play for the crowd and keep the party going to the late hours.
