#VALT2015 NIGHT 3 ~ Theme: AQUATICA Cerulean waters, glass-still lakes, ponds full of lotus flowers, oceans as far as the eye can see, violent tsunamis and impossibly dark depths. It is the magical and the terrifying. Aquatica is the unfathomable adventure that lurks just a little too close for comfort.

Vancouver Alternative Arts & Fashion Week - #VALT2015 provides Vancouver's wildly explosive underground arts scene with a unique departure from typical arts affairs. This three-day event boasts over 50 jury-selected artists, musicians, performers and designers, in a celebration and promotion of unbridled creativity. VALT encompasses wearable art, music (from solo musicians to full contemporary bands to electronic artists), drawing, painting, mixed-media works, sculpture, film (documentary, art film and narrative), performance art (from short theatrical works, to interpretive dance and beyond), photography and interactive installations.

VALT is run by SEAMS - The Style, Entertainment, Art & Media Society of Vancouver. This not-for-profit organization focuses on developing local arts programming that assists emerging and fringe artists of every medium and media in the province of BC, while fostering a community of culture appreciation.
