So incredibly inspiring...

http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3122174489/

This video is about a very humble man, talented and a huge inspiration. You must see this.
His name is Bill Cunningham. A photographer who takes photos of fashion and clothing. He's not into the whole fashion freak show that is involved with it...he simply likes clothes. A very unpretentious and passionate man.
I will be him in the future...but may be a better home.

Mabuhay

Casual and cool. This gentleman was trying on the man bag, well, actually the sport bag at a store. I appreciated what he was wearing. Well thought out. Great styling. Fantastic jacket. A perfect fit.

OK.

I admit I'm not tech savvy...at all. I'm a man from the 80's and even in the 80's I hated Atari, Intelivision and all the techie things then.
Now I know crap when it comes to all the fancy gadgets, ( 'fancy gadgets'...see what I mean?), I get blown away! I feel like I'm from a different planet, I swear.
I have all these fantastic photos I want to post but I accidentally f"k up and pressed some frig button on my camera and now I can't post them because they were shot at a setting that enlarged my photos! Now, I don't know how to fix it?!
I'm still working on it. I'm going to fix it! Please be patient with me.
K... I'm calling my techie friends, now.

Gucci

Looking sharp and polished, this man created an outfit that looks clean and fresh, fashion forward and professional. I know he just left work and part of his outfit is his uniform, but it's classy...and he works for Gucci. "Nuff said.

Waiting for the train...

Sick shoes, brilliant tights, leather, black, sexy, masculine, feminine and chic. I was waiting for the train and caught my eye on the girl with the crazy tights. As I heard the train arrive from both sides I ran around and quickly handed my cards and took their picture without waiting for an answer. This is what I captured, which is fine for me. I love the two ladies, or girls, in the back ground. Great looks. Love the tights and the lovely smile of the girl with the black toque...I'm happy.

...just a note...

I'm still have some technical difficulties with my camera. More pics to come.
Sorry for inconvenience and that's for hanging around.

Beauty from the U.K.

I ran out of Starbucks in order to get a photo of the beautiful woman that walked on by with her fantastic boyfriend. I absolutely appreciated her warm outfit. I loved all the textures and patterns. Her hat is a perfect fit and I love grey! Visiting from the U.K., was an added plus because I knew she wouldn't send me off. Although she did have that face at first, but her boyfriend was a big help...kind man.

She shows an good example of double layering now that it's cold. Use a scarf made of cotton jersey or silk or what have you, and add a bulky knitted scarf on top and be creative. It's chic and brilliant. It's good way to add a slpash of colour as well.

*I apologise for cropping her boyffriend out. Great guy but just not as stylish as his
 girlfriend.Cheers!?

Sharp

Looking sharp and debonair, this guy has it going on. Fantastic jeans, great leather jacket and chic cicle scarf. Perfectly styled from head to toe. Definitely a favourite of mine.

* I loved photographing him because he did all the posing on his own...no direction what so ever...I love it!

The Dress

Again, the beautiful Nicole in an outfit I have never seen her in. Nicole is one who likes to cover herself up and layer and layer...which always looks good. Nothing wrong with that, but when I got to work I was pleasantly surprised to see her wearing a dress! Wow! A figure, a silhouette and a beautiful body. A simple dress from Urban Outfitters looks chic and gorgeous. A perfect fit!

Colour

A colourful outfit for a colourful man. This simple outfit is hip and cool just like Trevor. If you zoom in you can get a glimpse of his body art. So all you need to do when you are in a tizz about what to wear, just throw on your favourite tee and your perfect jeans and you're off!

Kaylee Johnston

 http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fkayleejohnston.ca%2F&h=4710baXN_IWcMODyKGV5CxhVrWw

I was blessed to have run into the talented Kaylee Johnson on my lurking days. She sent me her new website that  must be seen. She's so talent. I'm sure she won't disappoint. http://www.kayleejohnson.com/

Emerging vocalist and songwriter Kaylee Johnston is busy building a buzz around herself. This young, new artist is songwriting, recording, releasing music videos and touring Canada.
This Vancouverite produced her first demo at the young age of 16. From that came the song “Arms Around Me”; which garnered her: a finalist slot in the Canadian Radio Star songwriting competition; placement in a made-for-TV movie, a feature on CBC radio; plus a guest spot on the Jack FM morning show.
In early 2009, she began her next project with Musician/MTV Star Eric Solomon and released a three-song demo. The song “Ego” was featured on Virgin Radio’s Best of BC.
Eager to get back into the studio, Kaylee teamed utp with world-renowned producer/engineer Jeff Dawson (Daniel Powter, State of Shock) in winter 2009 at Mushroom Studios. Out of this came the tunes “Streetlight” and “Bigger Than You” that would complete her first EP entitled: ‘Streetlight’
Her songs come from personal experiences about life and love. She delivers a vocal performance that is sweet yet powerful amid beats that mix chic electro with pop rock liveliness. The material, musicianship, performances and production are all first rate and attention to detail is prevalent.
Upon its release in the spring of 2010, ‘Streetlight’ has received critical acclaim. The release of the single “Bigger Than You” was to meet radio airplay with open arms, with over 20 major Radio Stations across Canada adding and spinning the song.
In support of ‘Streetlight,’ Kaylee Johnston has been busy throughout this summer and fall with the completion of two music videos and a Western Canadian tour.
Kaylee is currently hard at work on her next album. She, “plans to turn some heads,” and is, “stepping out of the box on this next one,” as quoted from a video interview with Hush Magazine.
With the momentum she has gained from her EP and the fan base she has developed with her energetic and entertaining live show, the stars are aligning to make a spot for this undeniable talent.
Kaylee Johnston is a singer/songwriter with catchy yet powerful lyrics. From her EP ‘Streetlight’ she has had radio play across Canada, toured, released 2 music videos, and gained a solid fan base from her energetic live show

Georgina Chapman for Marchesa Spring 2011

The Marchesa designer – who is married to movie mogul Harvey Weinstein – is set to give birth in August and is having fun dressing her ever-expanding stomach.
Speaking at the New Yorkers for Children gala, Georgina said: ‘We’re so excited! I’m five months along, but this dress hides it pretty well!’
While it will be the first child for Georgina, Harvey already has three daughters, Lily, Lucy and Emma, from a previous marriage.
In 2004, Georgina co-founded Marchesa with fellow Chelsea College of Art and Design graduate Keren Craig, with the label being named after socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati.
Investors of the brand include Giuseppe Cipriani and Steven C. Witkoff and in 2006, the label was named one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund‘s top ten finalists.
In 2008, the designers created one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated wedding dresses – that of Coleen McLoughlin, who was marrying England soccer star Wayne Rooney in a beautiful Italian ceremony

Georgina Chapman had to be posted. Her spring line is remarkable. Luxuriously designed embellished with elegance. Absolutely spectacular!

This gown is EPIC!

Kayne West ...Runway. One of my Favourite Artists Ever!

I love this video and song. Obviously inspired by Black Swan.

It's beautiful and stylish. Bravo.
Kayne is also a man of style. He doesn't dress the way most guys from his genre of music...he follows fashion. No oversized anything!

Katie Holmes for Badgley Mischka and Rumer Willis for Badgley Mishka

Katie is the new face of mom fave Ann Taylor, and her spring campaign shot by Tom Munro will be available in full some time next month.

Ever since I spotted Katie at H&M last couple of weeks I found that she was a lot more beautiful than I had thought. It doesn't surprise me that she was chosen for this campaign originally held by Heidi Klum. I love this photo. Never new she can look editorial.

Check out Katie Holmes in Ann Taylor’s Spring 2011 ad campaign!
“I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl,” the 32-year-old actress shared. “I grew up loving the clothes. I’m thrilled to be a part of a brand I believe in.”
“I applaud women who are doing their best to be the best versions of themselves and who are working really hard. And I’m glad that there is a store like Ann Taylor that can offer amazing styles for the many different roles that women play,” Katie, 32, told WWD.
Katie personifies the Ann Taylor brand — smart, talented, incredibly chic and living a full life with beauty and grace. We admire and respect Katie for her intellect, kindness and enduring personal style,” adds Christine Beauchamp, president of Ann Taylor Stores, a division of Ann Taylor Stores Corp.

Check out Rumer Willis featured in Badgley Mischka’s new Spring 2011 ad campaign. Two exclusive JustJared.com behind-the-scenes pics below!
The 22-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis stated, “It was so amazing to play on the beach in beautiful and timeless gowns, I felt like a princess. Partnering with [Mark Badgley and James Mischka] has been such a wonderful experience and I am honored to appear in the new campaign.”

In all honesty, I have never found Rumer Willis to be the most beautiful of women, but I always saw potential. I think she does wonderfully with what she has. She has definitely proven me wrong with the Badgley Mischka Campaign. She looks hot and luxurious and sexy.
Check the link...it's awesome!

Eco Fashion Week

I just love these guys. Great poses and they look so in love. ( OK, I may be wrong ), it's just how I felt. Of course they're stylish! That's Ashleigh and she works in marketing for Eco Fashion Week This February.

Absolutely loved her dress or coat. It looked vintage and  knitted and I love navy! The collar is an added plus and so is her boyfriend. Lol.
Again, brilliant coat. I want it and great skinny's that is complimented by his epic moccasin shoes!

The Pumkin Eater

This is one of my greatest friends. Meet Peter. Almost the most perfect person. He really get's it. I have always been a fan of his clothes. I've watched how we have evolved in fashion along the way. He always had his own style that was so Peter...the one we love.
Classic seems to be the style these days. Here he rocks the sport coat with straight leg jeans and comfy kicks. Looking sharp!

Good to see you again, Pete!

Rimmel

" That London Look". I like to say that for some cheese factor. You know...Rimmel? Anyway, they do look like those stylish and proper people who wander the streets of London. That's a compliment. This woman's boots are so cute. The both of them are so appropriately styled. Even the style of umbrella, if you know what I mean. This is one of the closest couple I have photographed...takes me to another country.
That guys coat!? C'mon...I KNOW!

...although I may have it tailored. :)

Jason Santos BY JACE

My name is Jason C. Santos. I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba. I've lived in Toronto Ontario and now live in Vancouver British Columbia. If you don't know where those places are, it's in Canada.
Photography has always been my main point of interest, though I do go through phases with it. An on again off again type of relationship. I'm hoping that with the start of this blog my passion and drive will grow and continue to evolve.
My main tools are:
- Minolta SLR (Film)
- Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS
- Pentax 35mm
- Canon EOS Rebel T2i
Just a quick sidenote, yes photography is the main theme of this blog but not the only things I will post.
Anyway with all that said, this is just my contribution to the massive world of blogging.

Please check his website and see how talented Jace is. He does it all, including the make up. Bravo!
Very proud of you Jace!

OOPS!

I apologize ahead for the following photos. I'm still fiddling around with my camera and produced very grainy photos. Obviously the wrong exposure, and who knows what? Luckily you can still get an image that showcases my people.

Sorry guys!
Raf :)

Prouenza Schouler clutch

Cass always impresses me with her looks. This is one of my favourites. I rarely see her in colour and this colourful top purchased in Paris is gorgeous. I love the prints and paired with her Proenza Schouler clutch with the white piping is brilliant. What a great outfit worn by a classy woman.

The Military Coat

Once again, a very popular look for the fashionable Vancouver man. It works well and it's easy. Having a trench coat of some kind in  the winter is a staple. Make sure it's fitted (custom, if you can afford to), and dark in colour. I would stick to black, navy or grey. Those coats never go out of style. Pair it with a good pair of jeans. He chose skinny's and great shoes. Again, well accessorised. I will never get sick of this look.

Mall Chic

A man who can accessorise is a man who knows his fashion. Like the great day it was, I managed to get a photograph of this gentleman dressed chic and appropriate. The military coat worn with that beautiful red plaid scarf is the ideal amount of colour you need to keep the outfit chic and subdued.

Shopping in Style

Risking my job , I had to quickly photograph this man of style. I enjoyed everything he was wearing and it was well suited and very personal in style. He carried that 'cool' and hip attitude which actually went well with his look. He didn't really have attitude, he simply looked well styled. As a blogger, sometimes you have to play the paparazzi role and " get that photo", regardless.
Note: still teaching myself to use my camera. Sorry about the grainy shot.
